A 20th-century African-American work song often credited to Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter as the author, though the earliest recordings are not by him. Some sources claim it is one of Lead Belly's many adaptations of earlier folk material.

Microgravity is the debut studio album by Norwegian electronic musician Geir Jenssen under the stage name Biosphere, released in 1991.

The album was at first rejected by SSR -- the subsidiary of Nettwerk with whom Jenssen had previously released his music -- as "unmarketable". The small Norwegian label Origo Sound picked it up, and the record scored on the club circuit in 1991.

At the end of 2014, Geir Jenssen launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to re-release the album on vinyl.

The Clarinet Sonatas, Op. 120, Nos. 1 and 2, are a pair of works by Johannes Brahms written in 1894 for clarinet and piano, and dedicated to the clarinetist Richard Mühlfeld. They stem from a period late in Brahms's life where he discovered the beauty of the sound and tonal colour of the clarinet. The form was largely undeveloped until after the completion of these sonatas, after which the combination of clarinet and piano was more readily used in composers’ new works. These were the last chamber pieces Brahms wrote before his death and are considered two of the great masterpieces in the clarinet repertoire. (Wikipedia)

This is a GREAT song, in the original version: it has all the black spirit in it. When I listened the Tom Jones remake I though he was american because of the funky heavy influence. I like his version, but I like the original one more.

There is a song right at the beginning of the controversial (but funny) movie 'Coonskin' that drives me crazy:

There are numerous recorded versions, including a cappella and folk. The song was eventually, with modified lyrics, remade as a rock song by the American band Ram Jam in 1977. Subsequent recordings, including hits by Tom Jones and Spiderbait, retain the structure of this version.
