UPDATE

1st of all, here are the conditions:
Ryzen7 4800H, CuteChess, 1 Core, Ponder OFF, 1m+1s, 128 MB Hash, 4-MEN
As book, Unique v50 opening suite is used for all and played as twice!

Code: Select all

1st Test Results: +17 Elo (in favor for SF-PB)

1 SF-PB 060623 +12/-7/=81 52.50% 52.5/100
2 Eman 8.91 +7/-12/=81 47.50% 47.5/100

Note: Eman via Rulleeeee.exp / Experience MultiPV ON
----------------------------------------------------
2nd Test Results: +17 Elo (in favour for SF-PB)

1 SF-PB 060623 +16/-11/=73 52.50% 52.5/100
2 Eman 8.91 +11/-16/=73 47.50% 47.5/100

Note: No Pre Learned Exp / Experience MultiPV ON
----------------------------------------------------

3rd Test Results: +14 Elo (in favor for Eman)

1 Eman 8.91 +14/-10/=76 52.00% 52.0/100
2 SF-PB 060623 +10/-14/=76 48.00% 48.0/100

Note: Pre Learned Exp of 2nd test/Exp. MultiPV OFF
----------------------------------------------------
4rd Test Results: +7 Elo (in favor for Eman)

1 Eman 8.91 +14/-12/=74 51.00% 51.0/100
2 SF-PB 060623 +12/-14/=74 49.00% 49.0/100

Note: Pre Learned Exp of 2nd+3rd test/Exp. MultiPV ON
----------------------------------------------------
As final words,
Sure for a better conclusion we need more games...
But anyhow it's clear that Eman's learning is quite
Effective even via concurrent (parallel matches..)
So this is wrong who claims that Eman is buggy or not
Able to learn even via parallel/concurrent matches!

On other hand,
Experience MultiPV OFF is performed as best (than all)
As 2nd best performance, we noticed comes in 4rd test!
So..once more we noticed that Eman's learning is valid
Even under SCCT conditions (even via parallel matches)

What I can say more about Eman 8.91 engine:
Via pre learned exp file ( sure learned on same openings):
In next re-run: Eman is performing much better for sure!

That means also that...
There is a possibility to see Exp Champs or higher ranks at:
https://sites.google.com/site/computers ... t-ben-cs-1

Hope helps...

One thing more,
Regarding the latest Top NNUE engines and testings etc.
Engines prefer to use data on previous played games!
So the overall draws are going higher and higher...
Sure in same time, tge quality as well...I admit..
...
That's why since the past year I'm writing that NNUE killed computer chess. There is no fun in a challenge when there is never a winner. I still hope for a new engine to come.

Actually NNUE is appeared on the days,
When Coronavirus is appeared on scene too ))

Well, now I am serious,
NNUE is very good choice but mainly for analyzing...
In game play (in book tours)..it is still can be used, but
I suggest Raubfish X48c SC

To be sure.. check please latest Duel - Breaker Vs DON
I mean both Top books produced: 92% draw ratio
And under serious conditions: MP, Ponder ON, Blitz etc.
Plus on fast CPU machine...!)

In other words, in this recent Duel,
Raubfish X48c SC's draw stats are like as NON-NNUE
But Raubfish's produced games are better in quality than NON-NNUE

Hm! Interesting! Can you tell AMENOPHIS if he wants to join the forum? I'd like to test this version of Raubfisch too.

Nice... and a good choice !

By the way,
If you are going to use Raubfisch X48c3 SC
Be sure that to NOT set over than 3 Threads
1 Thread or 2 Threads sounds not bad...

And as far as possible, use Bullet 1m+1s
Or 2m+1s etc.

As other example, and to be more clear:
It's not much recommended such as Rapid..
Or giving many Threads (per Engine)

Otherwise,
Almost all games may be ended as draws...
Just in case..very likely you'll be disappointed
You know...under very very serious test conditions,
No way to see many eng errors and sure wins!

And for this reason, in my opinion:
We have to force / test the TOP engine/s,
Where there are more chances to appear FUN )
Sure in the same time to produce not so bad
Games in quality...

Just my 2 cents over this issue !)

I though you knew it: AMENOPHIS was the nickname used by the author of Raubfisch on Chess2U.

Hmm.. I was not aware of that ... reason
I was not as frequent member of Chess2u
You know, in those days I was as frequent in Outskirts )

Well, as far as I remember in 2021 (during our last contacts each other)
Raubfish's author (Frank Karl Werner) said that no much time for chess...
For this reason, it's better to not bother him )

Sure sad.. but let's hope that Mr. Werner will be active again..
