That's why since the past year I'm writing that NNUE killed computer chess. There is no fun in a challenge when there is never a winner. I still hope for a new engine to come.Sedat Canbaz wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 6:47 am...
One thing more,
Regarding the latest Top NNUE engines and testings etc.
Engines prefer to use data on previous played games!
So the overall draws are going higher and higher...
Sure in same time, tge quality as well...I admit..

Hm! Interesting! Can you tell AMENOPHIS if he wants to join the forum? I'd like to test this version of Raubfisch too.Sedat Canbaz wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 6:48 pmActually NNUE is appeared on the days,
When Coronavirus is appeared on scene too ))
Well, now I am serious,
NNUE is very good choice but mainly for analyzing...
In game play (in book tours)..it is still can be used, but
I suggest Raubfish X48c SC
To be sure.. check please latest Duel - Breaker Vs DON
I mean both Top books produced: 92% draw ratio
And under serious conditions: MP, Ponder ON, Blitz etc.
Plus on fast CPU machine...!)
In other words, in this recent Duel,
Raubfish X48c SC's draw stats are like as NON-NNUE
But Raubfish's produced games are better in quality than NON-NNUE

Nice... and a good choice !
By the way,
If you are going to use Raubfisch X48c3 SC
Be sure that to NOT set over than 3 Threads
1 Thread or 2 Threads sounds not bad...
And as far as possible, use Bullet 1m+1s
Or 2m+1s etc.
As other example, and to be more clear:
It's not much recommended such as Rapid..
Or giving many Threads (per Engine)
Otherwise,
Almost all games may be ended as draws...
Just in case..very likely you'll be disappointed
You know...under very very serious test conditions,
No way to see many eng errors and sure wins!
And for this reason, in my opinion:
We have to force / test the TOP engine/s,
Where there are more chances to appear FUN )
Sure in the same time to produce not so bad
Games in quality...
Just my 2 cents over this issue !)
Hmm.. I was not aware of that ... reasonmassimilianogoi wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 6:11 am I though you knew it: AMENOPHIS was the nickname used by the author of Raubfisch on Chess2U.
