UPDATE 3

Incognito 5 Pro still leads.. and very impressive that
Incognito engine is with one of the smallest size.. plus
One of lowest draw ratio so far..!

On other hand, as we see..
After more games, the rest players are close in points too..
And in my opinion, after the end of current strength testing...,
Mostly of the played engines points will be almost identical...
In other words, let's hope for good news )

Code: Select all

Rank Name Elo +/- Games Score Draw
   1 Incognito 5 Pro 2 5 488 50.3% 97.7%
   2 SF-PB 080124 1 3 488 50.2% 99.2%
   3 CoolIris 11.80 1 4 488 50.1% 98.2%
   4 Brainlearn 27 1 4 488 50.1% 98.6%
   5 Raid v3.4 -1 3 487 49.9% 99.0%
   6 Polyfish 140124 -1 5 487 49.9% 97.3%
   7 Eman 9.90 -1 3 487 49.8% 98.8%
   8 ShashChess 34.6 -2 4 487 49.7% 98.6%

UPDATE 4

Well, the current test is already paused/ended..
And now is time to work over book configurations... )

Anyhow, here are latest standings...and as I expected,
All are very close in points (in strength), almost identical..
That means in same time,
The strongest books, sure via NN assistance..will be ranked at better places..
No doubt also that, the tour's draw percentage is expecting very high too...
But it is worth giving a try...since the target to be more close to Online...)

Meanwhile (about registrations from same Author):
For right now, two opening books will be allowed...
Later..it will depend on my free/CPU time,
I may accept even 3 opening books!

For anyone missed,
Two separate tours will be organized...that's why
All will depend on the number of Book entries,
E.g if too many entries: two..if less..3 books

And once more, in case of interest to submit a book:
Please do not forget to specify the engine... for example,
You can check, select one of the latest tested engines...

See for details my previous recent postings...

Best,
Sedat

UPDATE 6

1st of all,
Kilfish 270224 will be not played in planning Online Book CS!
Or other engine (such as SF-PRO 290224 by APOCALYPSE too)
As reason, these chess engines do not have BIN book future...

Anyhow, just out of curiosity,
I've realized to test Killfish via Polyglot adapter too...

And as I expected and unfortunately:
Kilffish 270224 engine via Polyglot adapter suffers...
Actually many via adapter don't play at full performance...
And this is nothing new...exception in recent test:
https://open-chess.org/viewtopic.php?f= ... 1&start=10
I mean even in the past about 10-15 years ago..
Similar issues recorded...some did not play at full performance!
That's why and as far as possible,
I am trying to stay far away from using external adapters...
Thanks for your understanding...

Ok..and here are the latest new played strength results:

Code: Select all

   # PLAYER : RATING POINTS GAMES (%)
   1 SF-PB 080124 : 3801.6 401.5 800 50

   5 CoolIris 11.80 : 3800.4 400.0 800 50

   7 Eman 9.90 : 3800.0 399.5 800 50
   8 ShashChess 34.6 : 3799.6 399.0 800 50

Another update (for today)

Finely....I've managed to start the championship !!
With 17 players, sure just in case of other entries..
Then they will be played later.. in Gauntlet mode

Btw,
Latest Cevdet's Dual (by Cevdet Sarı) is entered too!
And it's planning to be played by Cool Iris 11.80

Be aware of that,
It's my idea of including latest Cevdet's dual books
Otherwise I can't..'Book Factory Man' should be in )
And I've realized to be played by Cool Iris 11.80 too
If nothing else, now all Authors engines are in...
Only ShashChess is left out, but Brainlearn is in..

And soon 1st played results will be shared,
So please stay tuned... )

Breaking News - 02.03.2024:
Here are the latest results and after checking more closely, we may expect
Everything in the next new updates, but on the other hand I admit also that
HCan, DON, SENTINEL etc. are as BEAST, really very dangerous books!
Actually in ongoing championship all books are dangerous and as we see,
Almost all of them are very close in points..Note also that the Champion/s
Title will be determined after 700 games (per player)..that means soon...)
And without to not mention this I can't too all of current players are as real
Gladiators, no fear, no complexes... and fighting to the last drop of blood!
And as usual, it's my BIG pleasure to organize these kind of exciting tours
Btw, for more fair cond..(as in recent tests) All played without Eng learning
Be aware too (for anyone missed) later I hope to run another new tourney
With the highest Top 8 books, which will be under more serious conditions
Meanwhile, in case of interest to submit a book, please check for Details:

Current Book Leader: HCan - My Congratulations to Hamdullah Can!

Breaking News - 03.03.2024:
Well, Bullet Book Championship is over..Congrats and many thanks too all
Via this update, 3 new books are entered Cevdet 020324 (by Cevdet Sarı)
Unicarnio-Final (by Angel Morano) and Spartacus AQ2 (by Ian Hurnavich)
And as we see the standings are slightly changed but exc. for HCAN book
Where managed to be Champion..really impressive..because not easy as
It looks to be Number One sure some of the books were not so lucky..but
In my opinion, and I said before, the most important is fun..really..because
It's impossible to gain the highest points in each tour..but what is possible?
In each tour to gain 'fun', right ?) at least I'm talking fort my side of course)
However, 2nd place is going for two Top books: DON + ORIONPAX, nice..!
3rd place Unicarnio-Final, very good too! Btw a new other tourney started...
With the highest ranked Top 8 books which is under more serious cond.e.g
Playing at Blitz TC (2m+1s), 8 Core/Game, Ponder ON, 2048 MB hash etc.
Min. 300 games (per book) will be played..let's see what will be influences?
And frankly it's a mystery what will be next Blitz results, because any Book
Performance depends on used cond. anyhow Good Luck to Top 8 players!
Meanwhile, book registrations are already closed and all played games will
Be shared after the end of Blitz tour and very soon I hope to organize more
Book tours too..you know, SCCT is as factory of organizing series of CS !)
And all in very short of time.. and most important with so many games!

Bullet Book Champion HCan - My Congratulations to Hamdullah Can!

Have fun,
