Breaking News - 02.03.2024:
Shocking news..yes..via this strong tour, we have several Number Ones!!
Very rarely happens, but happens: 3 (three) Champions like in recent LXVIII
But overall draw ratio (99%) is very high too...sure via strong openings and
Via latest Top NN engines plus under more serious cond. etc. it is all right )
But if the goal is to see more wins..then we have to run mainly at fast Bullet,
1 Core, Ponder OFF..otherwise no much way to be beatable these Beasts!
Btw, all current Top 8 books are picked from the other organized: Bullet CS

Blitz Book Champions: Hazel, TURKEY, Unicornio - My Congratulations!

Hello there )

Well, here is a new Bullet Strength test, for the planning new Book CS!

To be more clear:
I share here two standings (of same test) just for comparing Error margin..
And it is clear that with Balsa opening suite...not so much Elo difference!
Actually as same words are going for other strong opening suites too...e.g
About 1000 games is enough..but with my Unique suite, which is less Drawish
About 5%-7% but not so strong as Balsa.. in other words, if determining..
This time, with Unique suite min 1500-2000 games (per player) are required !

Ah one thing more, for anyone missed:
Just if via weak suites..which many called instead of weak = unbalanced ))
Usually I stay far from them... anyhow, in case running serious tours etc.
Then will be not bad if min 4000-5000 games (per player) to be played...
Otherwise..the Error margin is expecting to be very high..that mean we can
Expect points far from reality (I mean not so accurate) Elo points!

And for anyone missed too, not so bad idea to check/ learn over openings:
https://sites.google.com/site/computers ... testings-1
https://sites.google.com/site/computers ... testings-2

Ok.. let's back to our current/ actual Strength test )
Be aware that too new Eng entries are coming soon!

Here are the next new Duels...Bullet 2024 Vs Blitz 2022
And all of below Duels are played just out of curiosity... enjoy )

Code: Select all

Test 1: Bullet (30s+05s) Vs Blitz (2m+1s): 6 Elo difference

-----------------------------------------------------------

Test 2: Bullet (30s+05s) Vs Blitz (2m+1s): 6 Elo difference

Test 3: Bullet (45s+05s) Vs Blitz (2m+1s): No Elo difference

1 Kayra 1.5 2m+1s +9/-9/=482 50.00% 250.0/500
2 Brainlearn 27 45s+05s +9/-9/=482 50.00% 250.0/500
GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/uhhFxTJQ#BFHcwaBRA ... Kr0TZ1C_Hc

As final words,
For a better conclusion we need more various strength testings
But anyhow, now we have some data, which seems to be not bad
E.g 2024's Bullet games can be counted as Blitz of 2022 year!!

In other words,
If I will run Bullet Books Tours (by latest SF- Based NN Engines)
The planning games are expecting not so bad in quality too!
Sure we'll see plenty of draws..but if we want to be in trend
For right now I can not see any other way...what about you?

And I hope current new strength results to be useful too!

Well, here is mentioned new Bullet tour (1m+0.5s): with 97% draw ratio!
That means in same time, in 100 games: there are minus plus 3 wins...
So very likely I will set 30sec+0.6sec for the next planning Book CS...
At least, via 30s+06s it's expecting not so bad games, plus less draws...
Sure we will see more errors (blunder moves) via Bullet...but here is the key !
Otherwise, let's choose, use such conditions.. that engines will never make mistake )
Besides, I assume that you know already about my recent organized Duels:
Brainlrearn+Cool Iris Bullet Vs Kayra+Zeus Blitz
If you not aware.. Duel's played strength results are ended close to each other!
Sure some may not be so happy...but just in case of more time, cores etc
This time, FUN is going to be dead.. sorry..FUN comes as most important!
And as usual, I say over (who loves to see a lot of draws such as 97%-100% etc.)
What is point of using BIG umbrella..if no much rain on the horizon ?)

Btw, I realized to test some older versions, to see the influences...
So it is clear that even the former Champions are still not dead...!!

Code: Select all

Hello Friends,

SCCT Bullet (30s+0.6s) Candidate CS, played in the name of
Next Book CS... which is planning to be started very soon!

As last entry: a new Raptora 2.3 vers. is participated as well...
Sure as alternatives, many other eng versions are entered too!
So it's clear that we see some Elo improvements than last year
But not much... as we see, Elo difference minus plus 5-10 Elo
And just if using more optimal cond. e.g MP, Blitz, Ponder ON
Then Elo difference is expecting to be less. e.g with slower
Time controls, maybe the Elo difference: 1-2 Elo? Who knows?)
Sure I mean in the period between 12 months (than last year)

Code: Select all
